As both Boards begin the process to discuss the replacement (renovation or new construction) of John A. Holmes High School, a decision will have to be made regarding the location.  In the past, there have been discussions among the Boards regarding full renovation/additions at the current location OR construction of a new facility at a different location.  

 

The Board of Commissioners and the Board of Education want to hear from the Community and have scheduled two public hearings to allow for public comment on the subject matter.

Public Hearing

 

          Individual Comments - *The Board will allow a maximum of three (3) minutes per speaker.

 

          Group Comments - *Groups supporting or opposing the same position may designate a  

          spokesperson.  Group spokespersons will be allotted a maximum of six (6) minutes.

 

There will be two public comment sheets at the entrance of each public meeting; one is for individual speakers and the other is for groups.  Please sign up for one sheet only.
